Melinda Warren had been burned at the stake, she could of used her powers to get out, but that would of proved she was a witch, and her and her child, Prudence would have been in a lot more of danger.

Yes very brave lady she died for the sake of her daughter and for the Charmed line to carry. If i was her i think i would have done the same. But then again do you think if she didnt have her daughter she would have used her powers to escape?

I think she would have went through with the burning, because I think she knew that either way the villagers would have to realize they were wrong in what they were doing. I think Melinda was dying for her child and for a cause.
Either way being burned at the stake would take a strong person to deal with the pain and resist the temptation to escape.
